DASSAULT SYSTÈMES TELEPORT 1/1: INNOVATION BY AND FOR HERITAGE 1/3

As part of Paris Museum Week 2025, the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine is offering a unique immersion in the Téléport 1/1 , designed and developed by Dassault SystÚmes at the Cité, which allows, among other things, collaborative experiences in virtual reality in virtual twins of life-size monuments.

Teleport 1/1 is used by heritage and architecture professionals as part of transdisciplinary projects dedicated to heritage research and preservation, within the framework of unique partnerships with cultural and research institutions.

During this session, participants will discover 2 emblematic case studies :

‱ The Saga of the Department Stores: before the opening of the exhibition currently on display at the CitĂ©, the system enabled work to be done on its scenography; afterwards, it was digitized for conservation purposes so that visitors could immerse themselves in it.
‱ ScanPyramids Mission: a scientific case study where Teleport 1/1 facilitates the work of researchers to advance knowledge of the architectural structures of the Great Pyramid discovered by the mission. The virtual twin of the ScanPyramids North Face corridor, inaccessible and unseen since 4500, was, for example, reconstructed by photogrammetry using a 5 mm endoscope.
Each session, limited to 7 participants , will offer a privileged time for discussion with the project experts, allowing the exploration of the new possibilities offered by collective virtual reality in terms of study, conservation and cultural mediation.

"NOIRE": AN AUGMENTED REALITY IMMERSION AT THE HEART OF CIVIL RIGHTS HISTORY (demo version)

As part of Paris Museum Week 2025, Novaya presents "Noire," the demo version of an immersive augmented reality installation retracing the little-known story of Claudette Colvin, a key figure in the civil rights movement in the United States. Co-produced with the Centre Pompidou, this experience was awarded the Best Immersive Installation at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

Immersed in a unique sensory and visual reconstruction, participants will follow the struggle of Claudette Colvin, the 15-year-old high school student who, in 1955, refused to give up her seat to a white passenger on a Montgomery bus, nine months before Rosa Parks. A poignant immersion where archives, stories, and interactive technologies combine to bring a key page of history to life.

Presented in private tours in the Nexus 8 space in Charenton , this experience will allow four participants simultaneously to explore this story through an innovative staging, where physical elements are virtually integrated into augmented reality headsets.

In partnership with the JeDI association, a federator of immersive experiences.

MUSEUMS AND OUTSOURCING: OPPORTUNITY OR LOSS OF CONTROL? DEBATE EVENING - ICOM FRANCE

As part of Paris Museum Week 2025, ICOM France is organizing an evening of debate on the outsourcing of museum professions, a growing practice that questions the balance between delegation and responsibility. Surveillance, mediation, conservation, scenography... Should this be seen as a necessity in the face of a lack of resources or as a deliberate strategy? Which professions should remain under the control of institutions, and what are the limits of this trend? This public event is accessible only by registration via an external ticketing system (limited places, on site and online). Simultaneous translation into French, English, and Spanish with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
